This Executive Guide to Zero Trust: Drivers, Objectives, and Strategic Considerations Horizon Report is the capstone in a series of nine documents. These documents provide deep and relevant guidance to security, IT, and business leaders concerned with how their firms can safely enable business agility in an era where cloud, mobility, and extended supply chain interdependencies render perimeter-focused defenses obsolete.
The series draws its insights from a series of discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs) from a “zero trust thought leadership group” comprised of subject matter experts:
- CISOs with four Stratascale clients, each responsible for security at a complex, multibillion-dollar enterprise.
- Three external industry leaders, including individuals who helped shape the core principles of zero trust.
- Two security leads from IT analyst firms.
An internal team of five Stratascale SMEs shaped the direction of this research, participated in all discussions, and met internally to refine our approach, analysis, and reporting. A parallel initiative—“The Technical Manager’s Guide to Zero Trust”—involved a group of 12 Stratascale security experts, and delved into ZT attributes, requirements, and objectives within each of the six ZT pillars.
Stratascale is committed to continuing to work with the F1000 community to build deeper understanding of where, how, and why zero trust is important to both security posture and business agility. Please contact us at zt-mica@stratascale.com to discuss how we can collaborate on ZT!
